Updated Wolfline Impacts During Phase I of the Power Forward Electrical Project

Phase I of construction for Power Forward, the university’s multiyear, multiphase project to upgrade the electrical distribution system on Central Campus and North Campus began December 15, on Sullivan Drive with road closures indicated in the attached map.

This will impact Wolfline routes 30, 43, and 51. Below you will find the detours for each route. All dates are close estimates. Work may be delayed due to weather or for unforeseen reasons. Impacted roads will be closed in both directions.

Additional Notes

Beginning March 7, the following stops on Sullivan Drive will be closed:

  • Sullivan Dr. at West Lot
  • Sullivan Dr. at Lee Lot

Route 30 will utilize the stops on Varsity Dr., outside of the West Deck and across the street next to the University Police building, in place of the closed stops.

The stops at Admin Services I will continue to be closed with an anticipated reopening date of March 12.

On March 14, Route 43 will revert back to its regularly posted route. ES King Village residents will board on Gorman St. at Perquimans Hall.

Also, beginning March 14, Route 51 will not stop at the West. Deck. Please utilize the Hodges Bldg. and Schaub Food Sciences Bldg. stops on Dan Allen Dr.
