Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback regarding the upcoming Fall 2026 Wolfline service adjustments. Following a review of campus needs, we would like to provide the following updates:

Route 41: Will maintain its current configuration.
Route 52: Will continue to operate with two buses.

We appreciate your patience as we work to optimize campus transit.

Wolfline has updated the routes for Fall 2026 to provide more efficient transportation on the NC State campus. By updating these routes, Wolfline will be able to reduce missed services and add additional buses to high-priority campus connector routes. 

GoRaleigh Route 11 and Route 12 have recently expanded frequency and coverage area in the last year, freeing up Wolfline service to be directed where GoRaleigh can’t reach.

With your NC State GoPass, you don’t have to live on a Wolfline Route; you can hop on several GoRaleigh Routes to take you to where you need to go. 

GoRaleigh Route 11: Provides access to areas such as Tryon Road and Trailwood Drive, with service to Central Campus stops at Morrill Drive and Cates Avenue.

Frequency: 15 minutes on weekdays (6:35 a.m. – 7:20 p.m.) from and weekends at peak hours  (8:35 a.m. – 7:20 p.m.), 30 minutes at all other times

GoRaleigh Route 12: Serves Method Road, Kent Road, Kaplan Drive, Gorman Street, Avent Ferry Road, Crest Road and Conifer Drive, providing access to NC State from the Hillsborough St corridor.

Frequency: 30 minutes at peak hours on weekdays (6:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.), 60 minutes at all other times. 

Additional GoRaleigh Routes: Routes 4,9, 11L, and 27L also support commuting in the area.

• Route 20:
  • Rerouted to serve Partners Way and Varsity Drive.
  • Frequency: 13 minutes

• Route 30:
  • No changes.
  • Frequency: Weekday, 8-10 minutes; Weekend, 32 minutes

• Route 40:
  • Adjusted the schedule for more efficient service.
  • Frequency: 5 minutes

• Route 41:
  • Will maintain its current configuration.
  • Frequency: Weekday, 10 minutes; Weekend, 38 minutes

• Route 42:
  • Expanded service to Food Lion and new weekend service.
  • Frequency: Weekday, 12 minutes; Weekend, 25 minutes

• Route 43:
  • Loop updated to travel northbound along Varsity Drive (no longer using Dan Allen Drive).
  • Frequency: 13 minutes

• Route 50:
  • Route removed. Service to main campus along Avent Ferry Road. Service shifted to Route 60 and GoRaleigh Route 11.
• Route 51:
  • Rerouted for more efficient campus service. Now with improved access between the Varsity Parking Lot, Resident Storage Lot and Central Campus with bidirectional service on Dan Allen Drive.
  • Frequency: 13 minutes

• Route 52:
  • Will continue to operate with two buses
  • Frequency: TBD
• Route 60:
  • Extended to improve access between Carter-Finley Park & Ride, Vet School and Centennial Campus. Includes bidirectional service along Dan Allen Drive and one additional bus added for peak service.
