Hillsborough Street Bike Lanes Are to Be Re-Striped Beginning This Sunday, August 6.

Per the City of Raleigh:

Beginning this Sunday night and running through Friday, Aug. 11, the City of Raleigh will be re-striping the bike lanes on Hillsborough Street between Pullen Road and Gardner Street.

Crews will be working between 9 p.m.-4 a.m. (nighttime work only) from Aug. 6 – Aug. 11.

Street parking spaces will be closed during the re-striping to accommodate the work on the bike lanes. The plan is to restrict parking on the north side of the street for the first two days of work, then move over to the south side for the second two days of work.

Please be aware that crews will have to do some street grinding to move the parking markings, symbols, and bike lanes.
