UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, the demolition of the old EB 440 bridge has been postponed to March 13. Construction crews will continue with the WB portion on March 13 starting Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning and ending Saturday Morning.
Construction crews will close westbound Western Boulevard under I-440 from midnight to 5:00 a.m. beginning March 10 to continue the demolition of the old eastbound I-440 bridge. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed on the morning of March 16. Traffic will be detoured around the closure during these times. Please refer to the maps below.
