Power Forward Traffic Impacts on Dan Allen Drive

Please see the note below from Construction Management about the current traffic impacts due to the Power Forward Project.

Dan Allen Drive under the railroad bridge was closed entirely yesterday due to unforeseen underground conditions related to the Dan Allen Domestic Waterline project.  It will now remain closed as part of the Power Forward work.   Power Forward work will also be closing Katharine Stinson Drive between Bureau of Mines and Broughton Hall

The target dates for the closure of Dan Allen Drive under the railroad bridge are July 19 to Sept. 27, 2024.  It will be reopened temporarily during move-in week, Aug. 12-18, and closed again until approximately Sept. 27, 2024. The target dates for the closure of Katherine Stinson Drive between Bureau of Mines/Broughton is July 22 to Aug. 14, 2024. These dates are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen issues.

Moving forward, I would encourage you to visit the webpage periodically for any updates to the work schedule and associated closures. These graphics are updated by the project team at a minimum weekly, or sooner if there are any significant changes to the dates due to weather or other unforeseen issues.
