There will be upcoming traffic impacts to the Sullivan Drive/Varsity Drive intersection as work continues on the Power Forward/Electrical Distribution System Upgrade project.
The duct back installation will need to cross through this intersection and to avoid a complete closure, it will be divided into two, half closures.
Northbound traffic on Varsity Drive will be allowed to cross Sullivan Drive at all times. Southbound traffic on Varsity Drive will not. Varsity Drive will be one way, northbound between Wolf Village Way and Varsity Drive. Motorists departing the tennis or baseball complex will need to utilize Thurman Drive, out to Dan Allen during this work.
Pedestrian traffic will be able to get through the intersection at all times.
Please see the graphics below detailing the closures/traffic routes. Appropriate signage directing motorists will be put in place by the project team.
The target dates for this work are now February 7 – Feb 11, 2022. The work will be performed during day time working hours, and the detours will be left in place around the clock.
