On the night of February 5, crews will open the jughandle connection between Hillsborough Street and Blue Ridge Road, closing the existing intersection of Blue Ridge Road and Hillsborough Street, for construction of the new Hillsborough Bridge over Blue Ridge Road. This closure will be in place for 6 months.
This closure will modify the existing Blue Ridge Road detours that have been in place since the end of October. Traffic will use Edwards Mills Road and Wade Avenue as the Hillsborough detour as shown on the attached detour plans.
