Oberlin Road Closure November 10-20

As a part of the Oberlin Road Streetscape Project, crews are also working on infrastructure improvements. Crews are currently replacing sewer and water mains, which will necessitate a 10-day road closure.

Oberlin Road will be closed between Pullen Road and Clark Avenue starting Nov. 10. The closure will remain in place through Nov. 20.

The road closure will NOT affect the accessibility to the Pullen Road & Oberlin roundabout (near Sam & Bill’s/The Player’s Retreat) or the ability to move along Clark Avenue.

The work in this area is extensive. To minimize longer-term disturbances to businesses and residents, the work is scheduled to be 24-hour continuous work during the day and overnight hours throughout the ten days. 

Access to businesses and homes in the construction zone will be maintained. However, all other traffic will be detoured. The detour is Hillsborough Street to Woodburn Road to Clark Avenue to Oberlin Road, or Clark Avenue to Enterprise Street to Hillsborough Street.
