NC State Transportation Switches to Passio Go! from TransLoc

We want to inform you about an essential change regarding our transportation services. Effective immediately, the Passio Go! mobile app will provide real-time Wolfline bus tracking for the NC State community. Wolfline information will no longer be available in the TransLoc app starting Sept. 1.

Why the Change: NC State Wolfline has partnered with Transloc since its inception in 2004. After a significant assessment of the capabilities of Transloc compared to similar competitors, there is convincing evidence that this switch to Passio Go is the best path forward for the NC State community. Passio will provide more detailed and transparent data for administrative decision-making, APIs allowing for real-time bus tracking in Google Maps, optional alerts and push notifications for mobile devices, more accurate arrival predictions, and faster publication of detours on the fly. We recognize that this is a significant change and are eager to assist the community in navigating this new venture. 

Action Required: Please download the Passio Go! app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and familiarize yourself with its features.

Additionally, Wolfline’s real-time schedules for the fall semester will go live on Google Maps on August 19.
