Important Traffic Advisory: Nightly Hillsborough Street Closures for Bridge Work

Please be aware of upcoming nightly closures on Hillsborough Street (both eastbound and westbound) to facilitate the placement of girders on the new Hillsborough Bridge.

  • Closure Schedule for Hillsborough Street Girders: Nightly, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., during the week of Sunday, July 21, through Thursday, July 25.
  • Closure Schedule for Beryl Road Girders: Nightly, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 6, and Wednesday, August 7.

This essential work requires the complete closure of both eastbound and westbound lanes during these hours. Please see the map below with the detour routes during the closure times.
