This permit grants close proximity parking in designated SV spaces, or any unreserved parking space on campus for non-government licensed vehicles that need close access to provide service, maintenance and/or repair to campus buildings, equipment and/or infrastructure.

SV parking spaces are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An SV permit does not guarantee parking within any specific parking area.  Parking on curbs, landscape or fire lanes with an SV is not permitted at any time.  Please see our Service Vehicle (SV) parking space map for space locations-https://transportation.ncsu.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/46/2025/08/map-service-vehicles.pdf   

Individual University employees who utilize an SP permit must also have a valid individual employee permit.
